The purpose of this position is to provide clerical support to the County Council as necessary to maintain and execute various administrative functions.  Prepares records and/or maintains an assortment of information such as Ordinances, budgets, resolutions, minutes of meetings, etc.

Also plans, organizes and directs all human resource functions for the County. Performs highly complex managerial and strategic work in the areas of employment, compensation and classification, affirmative action, benefits administration, training, employee relations and related services, and ensures County compliance with all State and Federal regulations pertaining to employment.

This class works under administrative supervision, developing and implementing programs within organizational policies and reports major activities to executive level administrators through conferences and reports.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualifications

  • Associates Degree.
  • Two (2) years of administrative support, human resources or closely related  experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Special Certifications and Licenses:

  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
  • Notary Public appointment
