Road Maintenance Equipment Operator/Dump Truck Driver

Job Duties

Operate mowing equipment, backhoe, loader, dump truck, and motor grader; Perform maintenance and repairs to equipment and trucks as needed; Install road signs and storm water pipes, stack rip rap in ditches or around pipes, pick up and discard land clearing debris; Dump spread gravel on roads; Asphalt driveways; Repair bridges; Perform litter detail and any manual labor essential to accomplish tasks assigned by the Public Works Director; Any other duties assigned by the Road Maintenance Supervisor or Public Works Director.

Education and Experience

High school education or GED; Two years related experience or training; Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Special Certifications and Licenses:

• Must possess and maintain a valid Class A commercial state driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
