Prepare

Do what you can NOW to prepare.  We can expect severe damage with the current potential including downed trees, power outages, and deadly ice.

🥫Stock at least three days of nonperishable food and water. (1 gallon of water per person per day)
🔥Have SAFE alternative heat sources to warm your home. NEVER use a generator (or fuel burning heater) inside or around windows/doors.
🚪Close off rooms to confine heat to smaller sections. Have heavy blankets and coats available.
🚘We urge you to not drive. But if you must – clean off ice/snow from the vehicle, drive slow, don’t use cruise control, and leave extra distance between vehicles
🔦Have flashlights and portable batteries on hand.
