EMS Office Manager

The purpose of the Emergency Services Office Manager is to assists the Emergency Services Director / Deputy Director with the daily operations and administration of the countywide emergency services program. As the forward-facing office in Emergency Services, you will work closely with the public and other departmental offices. It is imperative to maintain a positive and professional attitude.

This class works under general supervision, independently working on essential duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Management, Public or Health Administration or other related fields preferred. (or)
  • Two (2) years of administrative experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Special Certifications and Licenses:

  • State and National EMT Certification
  • South Carolina Certified Emergency Manager program (CEM). Can be obtained during employment.
  • Current Certification in BLS/CPR.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
