Solid Waste Operations Manager

An Abbeville County Public Works entry-level leadership position with professional growth opportunities directly responsible for recycling coordination and solid waste operations according to SCDHEC regulations. It also seeks grant, supply chain, risk and asset management skills, as well as planning, budgeting, and public interaction capability necessary to re-brand Abbeville County Public Works as an employer of choice. This position has further growth potential through indirect responsibilities associated with continuous improvement efforts in landfill operations and county road maintenance and rehabilitation. A two-year degree or exposure to civil engineering, business management, heavy equipment operation and Microsoft Office tools is a plus.
