Building Inspector

Performs building inspections, and related activities, under general supervision, to enforce compliance with Abbeville County and industry codes, ordinances, standards, and plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other requirements:

•  Successful completion and maintenance of certifications as required.
  • Building Inspector Certification ICC
• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and testing.
